I put a new log on the fire every 13mins to keep his highness toasty... Horlicks is on tap :D:D:D

The thing is - if the weather is bad, he doesn't want to go out - will plant his feet and refuse so I figure I will go with whatever he wants.

I had one like that (stabled because that was yard rules) He didn't do rain, if he didn't want to go out then fine, his choice as far as I was concerned. I skipped out around him.

My stallion lives out 24/7 but he's generally a couch potato, in winter at the first drop of rain, or flake of snow he's belting across his paddock and into his shed, and there he stays with just his head poking out, like a turtle! Again, his choice. In summer I have seen him standing in the middle of his paddock with the water literally rising around him, quite happy...that's horses for you :)

Tallyhoho - don't you find the bedding and bits of hay a bit hard to get out of cashmere though? ;) :D
