In or Out??

Hi I own a 4yr old native mare a v good doer, lightly backed and now hacking gently about 4 times a week. At present she is on a yard and grazed with 3 others. The other 3 horses are brought in overnight so mine was also however I feel she would be better out overnight, she will stay out alone as she has company on the other side of the fence but if I do that after about 2 nights she is absolutely shattered. Not sure if she is getting enough rest without her herd? Now the grass is coming through she is really on her toes, when in her haylage is cut with straw and she gets no hard feed but she is overweight. So do I turn her out 24/7 and let her get on with it or keep her in till weather improves and all are out?? sorry for long post any advice welcome

Can you do one day out and one day in until she settles more? I expect over time she will get used to it, some never do, but could be worth trying. I know some people really like routine but plenty of horses don't mind too much as long as they are fed!

thought I might try that, out tomorrow night in Thursday as heavy rain forecast and see how we go
