In praise of good service..hunt whip repaired like new

I dropped my hunt whip and it got ridden over before I could retrieve it. The handle came off, the leather was broken in several places, including where the thong joined, the lash was gone and generally it was in a sorry state. It was a present from the OH and vintage Swain so I was very worried about getting it properly fixed before OH found out.. I delivered it to Peter Loxley Smith on Sunday, and he had it repaired and ready for collection in 24 hours.. It looks super, I can't see where the repairs have been carried out and it has been polished and looks better than before.
I have recommended him on here before in response to someone asking where to get a whip custom made, but I am not related or anything ..just very happy to have had such good service so quickly and saved my skin!
