In praise of OH's. What has yours done to be helpful?

Oh well, I suppose mine did build me a field shelter (from scratch, not a kit) when we weren't even going out.

He sometimes comes to shows with me, although he complains they are tediously boring I notice he always wants to sit and watch one of the bigger classes, which I never bother doing!

If not coming to a show (which isn't very often) he will get up early at weekends and put in studs for me.

Will occasionally travel a horse for me if I can't make it.

Overall though I think he's trying to avoid being sucked in as full-time runaround and helper, and I think I can see his point!

I'm very lucky in that my OH is more horsey than I am and he's not gay! He turns out, mucks out, does water and nets every morning whilst I go to work, and he normally does all the bringing in at night too if i'm not back. He even lets me have a lie in one morning at the weekend and does them then as well.
