Due to possible hospital stay at fairly short notice I tentatively arranged for dogs to go into kennels. not sure exactly when yet . Due to s*ds law bitch is very likely to come into season soon!
Can you get a pill or injection to stop it at short notice. Not sure if kennels will take her. Hope it doesnt happen but I will possibly be totally stymied for dog care when I most need it !
Just another little problem to work through

Poor Pennyless, really feel for you, was hoping you had found some doggy help.
Just ring the kennels and ring the vet for your answers. xx

Any kennels worth it’s licence can cope with a bitch in season, I wouldn’t worry too much.

I’m still waiting for Willow to come into season but I also go away with work so it can’t stop me using kennels when needed. If you’re concerned, mention it to kennels but if I’m honest, it never occurs to me to say Willow is still entire because she shouldn’t be mixing with other dogs regardless.

Most boarding kennels will have their policy on line, have a quick look at the one you wish to use and contact them. All kennels have isolation units of the same size and quality as their boarding kennels. This is stipulated and conditioned in the new Animal Activity Act 2018.

I am sure a kennel will help you.

Well two kennels are totally full anyway so she wont be going there, pity its the summer and not the middle of winter !

I thought Dancing Diva has offered to care for the dog?

I'm not sure how you can know yet which dates you will need care for the dog, if she does need to go into kennels, as you haven't seen the consutant.

It should be sometime in the next month, have seen the consultant on a "fast" track. Think Ive found
a very small kennels that will hold a space for me for a few weeks if I pay to reserve. Will probably do that as it is a big worry to me
what would happen to them when I go in. DD has offered but she has enough on her plate with her own life. I am happy with the kennels
as it is a small quiet one which will suit my old dog.

cross posted !
