In shock... I can't believe my pony's gone.

I am so so sorry, what a lovely horsey. Tragic for you all.
It's heartwretching how something can happen and wham you and your family are devastated...

Thank you all so much for being so lovely.

Today is almost worse. It's been horrid having to get on and do the horses without him there. Getting hunters ready this morning was such a chore.

The people on the estate have been so lovely. One woman left a box of chocolates on our doorstep, we had a card left on the tack room door, and the gardener brought me a cup of tea and some toast this morning when he found me crying over my plaits!

I miss him.

Starzan - i am so so sorry for your loss. It is such a shock for you, and my heart really does go out to you.

It does keep playing like a clip from a film for a while, but it does get better eventually, but you will keep bursting into tears at random moments.

I know exactly how your boy looked, i wished to the bottom of my heart i did not, but it was not a pleasant site, and it takes a lot to blank it out, which is what i am still working on.

Please do not blame yourself or your other half.
