I've had to be very firm with Stanley as he's started barking if he hears anything outside and it's been getting very annoying! A firm "no" and not allowing him to go to the back door is rapidly sorting the problem but he is sulking with me. He wouldn't sit next to me last night when I watching TV and this morning I returned from riding Rose and I didn't get a greeting from him. He was in his basket and when I gave him a cheery hallo, he gave a loud Hummmmf and turned over to look the other way. When OH came home yesterday Stan was all over him! Is it just BTs that sulk?

Tawny (lab) is world champion sulker. Cold bum and curlers my OH calls it!
When we come back from being away she greets us ecstatically and then remembers that we have been away and goes and gets in her basket with her back to us.
One of our previous BTs used to do that, except we didn't get the greeting just the cold shoulder!

Our Jake will ignore OH when he returns from holiday (I stay at home and dogsit while he heads off on his jollies). Jake very deliberately is very affectionate with me but has one eye on OH as though he's watching to see if he gets jealous. After about 30 mins of adoring me and ignoring OH, he sidles up to OH for a lug rub and all us forgiven. ??
Peril cannot contain her excitement when we return after only a few minutes never mind giving us the cold shoulder, she's an open book!
