I'm diy so bring in groom, feed, poo pick, ride and do 3/4 others on the yard I dont ride or poo pick for them

I spend anything from 1/2 hour to 2/3 hours I take my dog so she gets walked at the same time

About an hour in the morning.

DIY livery, feed, change rugs, chuck out, muck out, fill hay net, put bed back down and do eve feed ready.

Someone else brings him in of an eve as I dont make it home from work in time.

I work full time, so I go up, feed, change rugs, turn out and muck out as quickly as possible

Then I ride after work.

Usually takes me about 1/2 hour in the morning

I go up in the mornings and feed..... check rugs and check for injurys..... and that is it..

He lives out in a huge field, so no poo picking.

I ride as and when in the winter

I am there for as long as I can spare tbh!!! It could be as little as half an hour, or 3 hours!

If the horses are in, it takes me about 3/4 of an hour to feed, turn out, muck out and get their stables ready for the night.

Nothing because I go to work at the crack of dawn so OH does D. I reckon it takes him about 15 min but thats because I do all the jobs in the evening, he literally just walks her out to the field.

I am DIY, always have been
When i kept my mare in at night (only do this twice a week now usually at weekend) i used to muck out and get everything done and ready for her to just come straight to bed, all hay, water, tea
i have rubber matting and use shavings so just poo pick day to day and once a week remove the wet, this saves time
all in all from leaving home to rushing round getting this done, bearing in mind its 10minutes drive away i could do it all in 50mins- an hour, the whole round trip.
i used to fill all 7 hay nets for the week on sundays, i dont use nets anymore, she eats off the floor as its better for her to eat like this, more natural imo

I keep 2 at home so mum does them in the morning when she walks the dogs and I keep 1 at work.
The 1 at work I spend about 20 mins to muck out, feed etc but I am there all day.
I am DIY.

I can squeeze 2 - 2 1/2 hrs in.

I groom (ahem) and ride my lad and then feed and turn him and my friends mare out.
Then I muck out and leave his stable ready for the evening including feed and hay. My friend then brings him in and does any necessary rug changes.

We are both DIY but by sharing this way it saves us both on petrol and means one of us gets the lie in and the other gets the early night

half an hour in winter mornings - I change ponio's rug, turn him out, muck out, bed down and hang up a hay net (I fill my haynets at night). I'm on DIY but he is brought in for me at about 4pm so I like him to have a clean stable and hay waiting for him.

My friend and i share the putting in and out as we are DIY and the only two on the yard who keep them in at night in the winter, theres one other mare but she stays out or her owner sorts her out. My friend has children so is normaly up early, therefore on the way to school or when she gets back about 9 she changes rugs and puts them out and mucks out her horse. Most of the time i'm over about 10 or 11 so we bring them back in, i muck out which takes 10 mins and do hay and water ect but i leave the straw bed up to dry and bring some extra straw over in a sack and leave it for later. We then ride and turn them back out for the afternoon, then on the way home i put beds down and bring them in, change rugs and feed. It's very flexible as theres only two of us, we try to ride together and if one of us is busy then we just sort the other one out. I child mind for her two days a week so she lets them out about 7am on those days then when her kids have gone of to school and the youngest who i have all day has had breakfast then we wonder up and muck them both out, then i get them back in when i finish about 6, obviously i can't ride on these days so i have to make sure i ride on the other days! It works well for us!

Im DIY - someone else usually feeds breakfast and by the time I get there I change rug, pick out feet, turn out, muck out stable, put in haynet, clean and refill water trug. Takes 35 mins or so. In evenings I fill next days haynet and make up breakfast and dinner for the following day to save time.

DIY. Get up yard in morning about 5. Ride, T/O, stable, feeds etc then make sure I leave by 7:15 or i'm late. I work full time and have a young son so someone finishes off for me 3 times a week so I get to spend some time with my family.
