I'm hunting on Saturday and I need to clip Zoom. I have no clippers but a friend usually does her. Said friend has decided she's annoyed with me (ridiculous reason....that's another post

).

Tedster off here has kindly offered to let me use her clippers.......but the blades are blunt. She has no internet at the moment at home but I could order some blades tonight.

However, even if the blades arrive, Zoom is field kept and there is no electricity apart from at afore mentioned soon-not-to-be friend's house on site.

SOOOOOO.............in theory.............could I clip her in my front garden?! I live in a terraced house in a West London suburb but it's only 20 minutes in my little box and we have a small paved front garden.

I know it's silly and we'll probably find another solution but I'm curious. My neighbours are quite moany anyway..........but in theory could I do it?

LOL it would be funny I think we may be ok with the generator or I had a better idea we could go over to the nursery its light there and has electric!! Yay

To me it sounds a bit safer to do it in her own field where she is more likely to be relaxed with a generator, rather than travel her to a (I assume) busy suburban environment and try to clip her through all the distractions that might be happening around her.

Thanks Tedster, you're an absolute star!!!!

To be honest, I would probably never do it........it was just a Tuesday afternoon ponering!..........it would be bloody hilarious though.

Zoom would be a good girl, she is quiet as a mouse in nearly every situation.......and it would definately give the curtain-twitchers something to gossip about!

Where I grew up a girl used to groom, feed, clip, etc her horse in the front garden, her father had even put a ring in the garage wall to tie the horse up. Admittedly not a terraced house! I now live in a terraced house, I keep threatening to take my girl in to 'mow' the lawn.

We used to take the horses up to the front garden to bath them before a show. First few times the neighbours gave us strange looks, but hell they got used to it, and yes as we grew up even clipped in the front garden
