In your opinion, what is ONE thing you would teach a beginner

Basic school moves, how to use the school when others are around, changing the rein and checking girth a stirrups should all be part of a lesson. She needs to find a new school as others have said.

Head collar well they probably leave them tacked up for the next lesson and parts of the tack probably need to get some stable management lessons which would of course be at an extra cost.

How to read horses body language with people and with each other and use the knowledge handling them and to be safe in the field and not get caught in the middle of a squabble.

Probably about bits and different actions of different bits.
I'd also want a beginner to spend time knowing how to fall!
