what make of horse box is the best / that lasts / rust free / problem free (most times) / easy to drive ect ect... And any that i have missed out on the poll
I was told MAN was the best when I started looking and I ended up with an Iveco. I think each mechanic has his pet hates, someone I know hates Iveco and loves DAF, mechanic taking mine for its plate says they all have there faults.
Im always amazed at the age of some wagons you see especially at local shows, they seem to go and go and go. People say Ford Cargos are rust buckets but theres plenty of them about.
I think its the luck of the draw really. Iveco chassis Im told are cheaper to buy 2nd hand and the Iveco hating person said that they were good workhorses but like a skoda whereas Daf was like a landy, his words not mine. My Iveco is so powerful and even Iveco hater says it pulls like a train and runs well. Iveco need to be used regular as the brake calipers can stick if they are left to stand. I just make sure I take mine for a run every couple of weeks and touch wood its been great.
Friend has had a Daf for years and hasnt had one bit of trouble with it and she doesnt touch hers for months.
Its a mine field isnt it.
