but one of my grids had blocked with leaves so now thats cleared I'm hoping its helped!!!

Yes, we were flooded this morning! Our stables are raised too but the water has come over the lip and very nearly into the stables, only the rubber matting was holding it back!

The drain was blocked as it drains into the river behind the yard, but it was clogged with mud, left YOs this morning clearing it so hopefully it'll have gone down soon.

I left Belle in this morning as the fields are flooded too and she gets mud fever, and it was forecast for heavy rain all day, but it's stopped now, wish I'd put her out. I'll probably go up on lunch and let her out

It was 12 inches from my stable door this morning and I'm just hoping the rain eased off enough or I shall have to bale my stable out after work tonight. The drain gets full of straw and s**t and there is nothing whatsoever to stop all the raw sewage from the muck heap to come straight in under my stable door. Expensive and time consuming if the worst happens and there was no one around (as usual) to ask if they would pump it away and sort the drain out.

Not *too* much, and I'm glad to say the one plus side of this wind is that it's drying it up quite well. I really hope we get some drier weather soon, as I don't want to move the paddocks that the girls are on before Christmas if I can help it...
