I had to go to Aldon on Sat as well to drop off a horse.. while i was there i walked the Int. course (save doing it today)...
While i was doing so, right next to fence 6ab, the loop at the top of the hill away from the pn/n courses.. right on the steep bit in the bracken was a huge group of about 5 or 6 policemen, 5 or 6 firemen, and 2 paramedics all milling around in the bracken... i carried on walking untill a few fences later i came across a nosey fence judge with their binoculars on the group.. curiousity got the better of me and i had to ask what was going on... all the fence judge said was that there had been an "incident" but it was nothing to do with the horse trials...

Anyone know anything... was all very strange!!!!!

I live near the MOD in bristol and about two weeks ago they shut the whole dual carriageway and had police everywhere, about 25 at the entrance and another 5 on the next junction directing traffice, all morning but there was no indication of what was acctually going on. Been curious ever since... also a rumour that there are explosive charges in the foundations so if anything major happens to the country it'll colaspe controlled demolition style.... and apparently it goes down twice as far as it goes up.... a bit off topic but it is intriquing

First I've heard about a dead body at the back of Aldon and I live in Yeovil. SUre there would have been talk about it at work.

As for the shutting of the road in Bristol, sure is wasn't to do with moving AirBus parts around? I've never heard of an MoD building being rigged with explosives in the base just in case.
