First bit; Ulla (spayed Dobe bitch) had puffy ears this morning so took her to the vet who said she had otitis and shaking her head had caused the swelling (haematoma). Gave her a couple of jabs (ABs and something else... I forget) and some drops for her ears plus some prednisalone (sp?) to start this evening.
Second bit; Incontinence. For the last few weeks, and as it's summer, she's been sleeping outdoors, so I don't know how long this has been going on, but I had her indoors for a while today and she wet herself. She didn't seem to notice it happening and was lying in her wee when I got her up and took her outside. Could this be a result of the injections she had this morning, or unconnected? What could cause it?
I'm quite worried about her although she seems perfectly happy in herself (aside from itchy ears) and will call the Vet later, but they are closed from 1pm to 5pm.
Grateful for any ideas.
