Incontinent dogs what to do!?

I have two elderly King Charles that are pretty happy in themselves however Rosie has been weeing in the house for the past year and now charlie is starting to show the same signs!

Im finding it really hard coming home to a mess every day...

Anyone in the same positionm?
 
Urilin or propalin are usually prescribed and are very effective. However your vet will want urine samples first to check there isn't an underlying problem like an infection.
 
done about 10 urine samples now and have been using all different suppliments and pills but nothing is working!

Back to the vet tomorrow £££££! so will see what happens!
 
Aah right. How long are they left each day, cos older dogs do sometimes struggle to hold for so long. I am working longer hours than usual this week and my old girl is pretty desperate to go out when I get in.
 
The most commonly prescribed incontinence drug is propalin, which works by strengthening the sphincter muscle.

If this doesn't help, incurin is a another good bet, which has oestrogen, a deficiency of which can cause incontinence.

If neither helps I am not too sure there are other medical options.

Could it be a behavioural issue as MM suggests? Do they wee when you are in the house? Do they wee overnight? Do they wee when left alone for long periods? It may well be that the second dog is copying the first and the first needs a bit of re-training or more frequent opportunities to go out.
