Indistructable Over Reach Boots

Hi i'm wonder if anyone out there knows of any really robust over reach boots. My boy needs to wear them in the field as he is quite a hooligan with the other boys and will not only over reach, but will also pull a shoe. I have tried the usual Rubber ones, neoprene ones, westropp petal ones and he just wrecks them, They are either torn in half, fall apart, or lost petals...which i never find...Thought about the Rubber Band ones but can't find them anywhere...Any suggestions??

I have got the premier equine ones. They are the fabric type ones. I bought them
at a car boot second hand and I have had them for over a year and they still look as good as new. Would definitely recommend them they seem indestructible.

Woof Wear bell boots. Horses wear these all around to play polocrosse and I only manage to trash 2 boots every season, they brilliant and robust. I'll try and find the link.

I was going to suggest the woof ones too, my horse is another over reach boot destroyer and these seem to be the only ones that survive!

Hi I know it is a nightmare replacing over reach boot but personally I always use the rubber ones which break when the horse stands on them as they still stop the over reach or pulling a shoe off however I nearly had a nasty accident x country when a horse stood on an over reach boot that had been taped on landed after a fence over reached boot didnt break when tried to lift his front legs and promptly fell on his face!! Since then have been fairly obsessive about over reach boots being able to snap.

yep, I agree. You dont want something that not going to break wrapped around a leg
If you can find some cheap rubber ones somewhere Id just buy in a few pairs at a time so youre never without

I find that Davis Bell boots are the only ones my boy doesn't ruin. they are so rubust as made of PVC. he was writting off rubber ones very day.
This pair of Davis he has worn daily for 8 weeks woo hoo!!!

Downside is they are rarer than hens teeth in this country, You can get them from America although I had a stroke of luck and found some on ebay from hope Saddlery so ordered their last 2 pairs of XL. Downside is they are gold glitter!!!!. I have the p ripped put of me on a daily basis. 17.2hh 5 year old wearing something which resembles Kylie Minogues hot pants. But they are fab!!!!!

Woof Wear Kevlar Overreach boots - really, really, really tough and extra dep too so brilliant for horses that pull shoes off in the field.

I swear by them for turnout. Also, very good for XC etc. Not cheap - but you will have paid for them in about 3 weeks if your horse is currently going through 2 pairs of rubber ones a week!
