Im getting to the stage where the ground works are getting done for our indoor school and im turning my attention to surface … im not a big fan of wax but will concede that on an indoor it’s probably necessary and I know that when cost is considered the best supplier is the nearest supplier

I’m situated near the M6 in cheshire

Any recommendations for good surfaces , suppliers and of Course anyone to avoid

I looked into Equestrian Surfaces for a top up on my outdoor as they are just minutes from my yard (and not far from you) expecting it to be much cheaper as the haulage cost would be a fraction of their competitors but they weren't.

I can't offer much help on surfaces for indoors, although my last yard before going solo had a Martin Collins surface in their indoor. My horse would not canter in it but a bit of digging made me think it was as a result of it being laid on concrete rather than the surface itself.
 
I used Equestrian Surfaces Ltd for a top up for my indoor. They have several surfaces with varying amounts of wax in them and were happy to advise. In the end we went with Sound Track.Being in Scotland, haulage was expensive but they were very good to deal with. Andrews Bowen similarly have a range of surfaces with varying wax content.
