Indoor Hunter Trial Report

Went to Golden Cross today for the indoor hunter trial for the 70-80cm and the 80-90cm with Shadow. We arrived just in time to walk the course then we watched a few and there weren't many clears.

We went in for the 70-80cm and she absolutely flew and jumped double clear (it was 2 phase), she didn't hesitate at anything even the water tray and the bright blue house. I didn't think our time was that fast but we went into the lead and stayed there so we won out of quite a big class. We won £25 and free Equine Affairs platinum membership and the rosettes were lovely too!

Then we did the 80-90cm and she was very unlucky to roll a pole at no 2. but she jumped brilliantly so I was really happy. I love my pony!

Well Done!!! I went too with my friend and we had a disaster - she knocked one so didn't do the 2nd phase and I missed the corner and got eliminated!!! What a twit, really thought that I knew the course. So pleased that a fellow forum won it though, congratulations!!

Thanks! That's a shame, the course was quite long and twisty I didn't think I'd remember it and my friend missed a fence. I missed a fence SJ the other week!
