Indoor Menage Construction - advice please!

Hi there,

I am constructing an indoor menage and the person building it for me is advising a permeable membrane liner between the compacted stone and surface. I am not having a waxed surface so I wondered if a non permeable barrier would be better to hold the water in rather than let it through?

I will have a sprinkler system.

If you have a non-permeable barrier think about where all the pee will sit, or if you over-watered…
