Indoor solar lighting for stables....

Just a quick question. Has anyone out there used or is using solar power to light up outdoor stables. Just wondering if they are effective. Thanks,

Try these on eBay
We've got one in our tack shed....& it's ok.....as good as any battery light.
One in the outside loo too !!

blimey!! I was expecting them to be about 100 quid!! How much time of light do you get on average? I just want an hour or two a day.

Hi,
I've been doing a bit of research and how long they last depends on the type of battery you use eg. one with a 100ah rating would last 10 hours, 40ah - 4hrs and so on.

I'm just wondering if they are bright enough to light up a stable?

i got some from netto i paid about £10 each for them they are every bit as good as the proper electric we have now

You need to add the price of a car battery to them - looked effective - they've developed 12v compact florescents that throw out the equivalent of a 40 watt lamp.
