anyone know of any?

WWEC is good, but it has been SO busy recently apparantly!

Chelworth hold great little shows but their warm up is on grass (well it was last year!) so not ideal if wet

anyone know of anywhere else?

it's for my 6 y/o ex racer who can be exciteable so needs to be pretty spacious and the quieter the better really!

West wilts run loads of things. Nice outdoor warm up and massive indoor arena. Great sized lorry park too. They tend to build proper up to height courses too so fab experience.
Chelworth fields is brilliant for spook busting as there is lots to look at! Super friendly and supportive place too. Really ideal for green horses and/or riders as you have time to sort the spooks as they don't pressure you. Great place.

thanks for the replies guys,
glosgirl- i do like WWEC but the business concerns me as currently my horse is VERY impatient, i would be worried about her not feeling the whole "waiting around" while another 50 odd people jump!
and Chelworth, yes their shows are amazing, but the lack of surfaced warm up concerns me abit for when winter really sets in!

piglet i forgot about malthouse, i think summerhouse may bit a little bit far for us currently i can quite remember how far malthouse is!

henbug - blewbury, i've never even heard of it *goes off to google*

thanks for the helpful replies i really appreciate it :)

At west wilts you can decide when you'd like to jump - so you can always get your number down towards the end, then if you go through to the jump off you don't have ages hanging around. I've always found the stewards there really helpful and friendly. They whip through those jumping pretty quick so usually there isn't too much waiting if you judge your warm up ok.

nickirhia99 - Hall Place isn't too far from me really, if my mum gets more confident on the motorwar with the trailer we're just off j16 m4 in liddington and im sure a few people on my yard have been to Hall Place.
glosgirl- thats good then, just abit concerned, my friend from the yard went a week or two ago and she only fit one class in all day because there were SO many entrants!
suzie - i've never heard of snowball i will go and investigate thanks :)

Are you on about Chelworth Fields Livery owned by Kate Walsh, if so they dont do winter shows on grass its in there school and i believe they have no warm up, just go in before your round for a trot/ canter round.
Um theres also knapp farm who do a winter SJ/ dressage series school is 60 x 25 and warm up is 40 x 20- can be busy but varies from show to show.

WWEC, is really good. But I have found as you go up the heights and especially being on a big horse (mine 16.2) It gets very tight as they build very up to height, But like another person said, Great spook busting place! and you also get prize money etc, very very friendly!
