I seem to only ever post when I've had a problem so I thought it'd be nice to announce to the world that we had a great lesson today and she was a star. It was our first lesson in more than four months after she was off with injury and we made some real progress. My instructor got me to ride with spurs which I've never done before and she was so responsive. I would never have tried them on my own but I felt confident to do so with her guidance and once I wasn't having to kick her the whole way around we we able to concentrate on other things.
I'd like to get some spurs so that I can carry on using them for schooling. Can anyone tell me where I can get some? They were an unusual type with rubber bulls on the end, ideal for a spur novice like me because there was much less risk of hurting her.
