Hi,
My poor horse has got an infected hock, his bursa has gotten infected. He has been operated and is now in recovery and antibiotics. I have been through hell getting him through this but hopefully everything will work out.
I am thinking about sending him back to my parents house for recovery after his box rest so he can get proper rest and I can pay off his huge vet bills. The vet said that if they are rested properly, they could make a full recovery.
Does anybody have any experience with a horse recovering from this injury? how long did it take for them to recover.
