I have read this the *guarentee* before - cannot think what site though. They obviously offer remote sales, I never like that TBH (it is different if someone chooses to do it, but someone that openly advertises it always rings alarm bells with me).

if you read the small print, its almost like they would prefer you not to vet them? hmm!

ah well, I could obviously transform them all into graceful swans...

they look like they've all been shipped over from ireland in the last week. got quite sad looking through them as some of them are in a bit of a sorry state - one looks like Ty when I first got him!

wouldn't touch with a bargepole but obviously that's my opinion and I have no proof to substantiate that comment .... haa haa x

Good Grief.........

just a thought...is Hungary the new Holland for dealers to buy reject meat market rubbish??

agree
went to view a horse there last year, v old, lame and weak, cracked hooves etc, i declined to ride and left. spent the rest of the week worrying about the horses, its a shame they used to bring cute haflingers over from europe but they all looked v sad.

Hey now come on guys dont say that about the horses, it's not their fault they are in this state. It would be nice if everyone treated horses well, but they don't.
Don't get me wrong I am in no way condoning the condition of these animals, however i have delt with this yard, very long story and I can not possibly post it on here, I have PM'd Mewcomer it though.
If I were a clever person I would find the article about this dealer that was in the Sunday mail over a year ago for you all to see.

I have no issue with the horses at all, its the people who buy them and then try to pass them off as something they arent that gets my back up...and at such inflated cost.

Would that be the scottish Mail on Sunday?

its the "Scotish Sunday mail" I just read it again but reluctant to post it personaly. It isnt the full version that I read at the time, june/july06, but im sure someone could work out how to see the entire story.

Ive posted the link which I am assuming isnt defamatory as anyone could have found it with a little searching.

The present business practices could well be completely straight but it doesnt hurt to have some history sometimes.

Oh you found it. This is the abreviated version. Kicking myself as untill a few days ago I had the article in my grooming kit, should any person ask if I new of this yard, but I chucked it out be mistake when having a sort out!!!

Poor horses, they look sad and scared.

I like the 'We think quiet to ride'!
In the guarantee it says the horse must be reurned in the same condition it came in - well, what happens if you feed it and brush it while you have it? Guarantee invalidated do you think?

i know this yard, i know someone who had bought a horse from there, am not gonna tell the story on here. any1 wants to know they should pm me.
i wouldn't work there, i wouldn't buy a horse from there. horses on the site look awful, and way over priced.
