Hey i have noticed when my horse has been in the stable over nite or resting in the field he walks of stiff for the first few steps then walks out of it???has any1 eles has same probs???hes on a jonit supplement n oil!!
he use to do this before when he had a sore back but he has had his back checkd and all is good??any help very much greatful thank-you :)))
 
Sorry, this took me 3 goes to read it. Your spelling and punctuation leave a lot to be desired!

Anyone on here would need more details before they could offer any helpful advice.

Age, workload, how long ago his back was checked, etc.

As a first step I'd suggest increasing his joint suppliment.
 
Ha ha Snoopy, it's supplEment lol. Jo-Archie - if your horse is over about 12 or 15 ish and he's stabled for perhaps 18 hours overnight, then it can be quite common for the horse to be a little stiff when he first steps out of his stable. Their legs were shaped by thousands of years of evolution to be constantly moving so when they stand (almost) still for so long it can take a while for everything inside the leg to wake up and smell the roses. If you know someone over about 45 or 50, ask them to stay standing up (allowed short spells laying down for a nap) for 18 hours, in a room as small as the average downstairs loo and then see if they spring effortlessly out of the room when allowed out.
