Does any one out there know the whereabouts or have any info on Golden Heights thoroughbred stallion? i was hoping to use him for my mare. maybe he's retired from stud duties now? any help greatly appreciated.

if no one can help with the above any suggestions for a decent thoroughbred with movement and outstanding temperament. all adverts for poss husbands for my mare say their stallions are THE one to choose but they cant all be fab! My mare is 15.2 reg sec D absolutley stunning to look at etc but she has not got the movement through her shoulder. dishes slightly too so i really need something that will help balance this. she will be A.I at home so stallion can be anywhere really ( not frozen).

Set Adrift standing at Ranby hall, really moves well, lovely compact stamp and a super temperament. I looked at an awful lot of stallions for my eventing mare and he was the only Thoroughbre done that ticked every box for me.

He is although i think he may be semi retired.
He was still covering a few last year though so worth a try.

am sorry unsure of where he is, someone on here will know tho!! my chap is out of a mare by golden heights, and a friend of mine has a stallion out of him (ad dressage horse), he seems to throw very well moving stock, and both our horses seem to hve the most fab temp, he would be deffo worth finding for your mare!!

thanks all so much. Pink Tiger......... Does your friend stand her stallion at all? also like to hear about your boy pm me if you have time.

hes not currently standing as is in competition, hes stunning looking stands about 15'3/16, but looks warmblood, was gob smacked when she said he was pure tb!!! his competion name is 'nibley goldspirit' if you want to look at his bd competition record, both our horses have the most fantastic temps, the stallion is one of those that has know idea hes a stallion, and is so polite! my chap at the moment is only 3, but loose schooled/lunged his movement is outstanding, hes very laid back, hes clever and very and has an effortless hind leg!! mrbrown are you breeding for eventing or dressage? as i think alot of the golden heights stock are fanatsic movers and are good at either!

I'm hoping to have something i can do bit of everything but dressage main interest. I had to sell my competition boy last year who was welsh/t.b as i found myself unexpectedly expecting! Mr Brown....... actually Mrs! He was sort you had to ride every day and would have been wasted chucked out in field. So i left with my gorgeous happy hack whom i've had since she 3, now 8, she won county level and east midlands champs in hand but she detests flat work rather be out with dogs rambling round the countryside. this is my one chance to breed hopefully something half decent. like to do.B.D and county level show.your boy sounds lush any pics?

am not sure actually but, his sire is deffo golden heights, my chap is by welton ambassador and dam is by golden heights, ive only ever heard good things about GH, i think as your mare poss has a lot of bone? GH would be a really complement your mare, am so rubbish i cant get the pics onto my computer from my camera, idont know what im doing wrong but have OH computer friend coming over soon to sort out so mayb able to get some pics. Hes very tall and gangly at the mo but even so manages to be light off the floor!! are you intending to breed this year?
