I'm a great fan of Pernamax (extract of green lipped mussel), once known as Lyproflex. It's a quick acting anti-inflammatory that has done wonders for my horse:

I also use Corta-Flx, the US recipe of Cortaflex, which some people say is inferior, but as my horse goes even better when she's on it, it's good enough for me, and having just bought 4 bottles on ebay for £60 including postage, I've got no reason to spend £50 a bottle on the UK stuff!

Cortavet is the vet strength version.

Mobifor is the vet strength version of Superflex. Mobifor and Superflex didn't work as well for my horse as Corta-Flx, but some people find the opposite.

Not a joint supplement as such, but has worked so well on Cairo I have stopped using cortaflex to see how he goes, is instant linseed. Really has helped with stiffness - moves like he is years younger since having it.

We used cosequin when Murph broke his leg and damaged cartilage, tendons and ligaments! Worked wonders, and seems to have gone down in price...either that or the vet was ripping us off!!

Synequin is what alot of the horses on old yard are on, these are all livery horses who from memory, one has degenerative changes in her hocks, on bute also, one is for a mare who is generally stiff, and who has such a pile driving action she will def start to show bone changes in joints soon, my old horse went on it after being diagnosed with ringbone, is totally sound but its off the insurance so best keep him on it!
Synequin has a greater dose of the active ingredients than cortaflex etc, some of the horses at the yard seem to be keepiong cortaflex in business with no effect!!
Codlivine, and the joint Codlivine by super solvitax (Sp) are fantastic, the joint one seems to get rid of clicky joints and first thing stiffness, and u get a great coat from the oil...
