Informed Bitting ???

I have bought a bit from Hilary, but not had her out. A few people I know have had her out and really rate her. She's very helpful

Well the BHS obviously like her as she is doing their CPD talks this year - but I have to say I wasn't impressed, and she gave a friend of mine completely duff advice on bitting her horse

Bear in mind also that you will be sold either a Myler or one of her own design

She did a serious on Telly with the Fredericks, what she said made good sense but equally you could probably find an experienced local person who could help you out if you were struggling as it would be cheaper.

Hmmm, I was sold a very expensive bit for my horse by her, she said I could return it if it didn't suit him as I was concerned about the design and if it would be ok.

My horse hated the bit so I took it back to her stand at Hickstead and asked for my money back as agreed, She said she hadn't got her cheque book on her! so I could try this other bit instead......... except this bit was 5.5" and my boy takes a 6.5".......

I was told it wouldn't matter that the bit was too small and to try it

Neerdless to say I declined and she said she would put a cheque in the post to me.

SIX WEEKS later after numerous emails and texts I got a cheque minus £20 for "bit hire"

Charming.
