Just waiting for some sample results taken from my boy but he will probably have to have steroids the vet thinks to clear up the last bits of debris from his throat (he got a secondary infection after starting with a cough). Anybody used these? Should have quizzed the vet more but guess I didn't want to sound like an @rse

! How do they work, how often do you have to do them and for how long?
Thanks

mine has hadto use these. to begin with they were a bit of a pain as had to have ten puffs twice a day (she was also on ventolin 10x 2x a day!) think it was after about 10 days went down to 5x twice a day then after another 10 days once a day then gradually reduced till on one or two every other day in total was on the steroidone for about 3-4 months (cant quite remember). wasn't ment tobe that long but keept coughing every time went to reduce! inhaled steriods are genrally corticosteroids and deal with inflamation thats as much detail as i know!
