inhand coloured

I need help so this isnt the "norm" but i have a 8yold coloured hes only now being backed (was a driving horse before) so ill only be doing inhand but what do i wear i know black trousers as he has white legs and what classes do u suggest hes trotter x id so i believe

Tweed jacket, shirt, tie and dark trousers for you

He would be on a normal bridle as he's an adult, with reins over head. Plain bridle, no fancy stitching. Trimmed and plaited

Obviously coloured (plaited if split out), riding club type or maybe riding horse. Hard to tell from those photos
 
thanks would i need a riding hat on as i wont be riding (ive never done showing) i didn't realise that he had to be plaited :S i thought he came under traditional

Yes a smart hat should be worn
He is not a traditional... Nowhere near enough general chunk or enough feather; his mane must be pulled and plaited 😀
 
Traditionals are hairy cobs with feathers OP,
native coloureds are a lighter weight but still cobby type with some feather (like a coloured welsh cob).
Both are turned out natural, though the latter has some tidying of mane etc.

Yours is neither so pulled, plaited and trimmed :)
