i have a 3 yr old and he's going round ok on the lead in walk but when u trot he runs ahead or goes sidways with his head up in the air... advice would be lovley..

What bit do you have in his mouth? If he's teething he could just be sensitive - mine went through the same phase as a two yr old - only advice I can give is to trot up in hand LOTS. A top show judge told me to take horse for walk with dogs and walk / trot as I went - it did eventually sort it out (but not before horse had tried to kill dog

lol at the moment i've had to use a headcollar because his bridle has 1 of the cheek pieces and havnt had time to get him a new 1 but he is in a inhand mini rubber snaffle bit, thanks for the advise xx

Can I just add that it is my youngest daughter that is asking these questions and not me ! lol....
