You’ll need to take out a mortgage (not quite!) but if you can contain the Guinea fowl in the stable for a day you can give them exholt. My vet gave it to me without seeing a bird, we did a remote consult
Injections for mites, dectomax?

I don't know what's compatible with cpl, but I've had success with a previous horses feather mites using pig oil. Recently my current horse had 2 rounds of dectomax for ear mites but that didn't work, vet recommended the switch fly treatment (in the base of her mane, so as close to ears without being in them) and they have all gone now.

Probably worth a new thread given how old this is!
I have used dectomax for CPL horses but if they'll let you wash their legs and the vet will prescribe cydectin off licence then it's more effective

Mine had the injection this year for the first time and it cleared the mites, two injections two weeks apart. He had not side affects, his legs are now clipped as had very thick feathers.

Neem oil rubbed into the feathers can help so long as you don't mind him having smelly green legs.
