I've just noticed my little kitten who is about nine weeks is limping, she is putting weight down on the sore leg/paw but meowing when she does, she is holding it up and licking it.
I have checked th leg and paw, there is no heat or lumps or bumps she meows when i move the leg ...

Just wondering if I should take her to vet or leave to see if she improves? & if so how long to leave it before I take her to the vet?

Sorry if I seem a bit paranoid, she just is clearly uncomfortable and feeling sorry for herself & I'm feeling quite bad for her :(

Awwww poor baby :(

Depends on how much pain she is in and only you know her, i am also a paranoid mummy so would probably have her down the vets sooner rather than later, go with your gut i say :)

Can you manipulate the leg, bring it all the way up in front of her and pull it all the way out behind her. Is there free movement in the hip joint, knee joint, ankle joint and toes?

Might be worth restricting her movement, maybe to one room to prevent her from jumping about/climbing stairs. See how she is after 24hrs of restrictive movement and if no improvement pop her over to the vets on Monday.

It's her front right leg & it feels fine, no heat, no lumps bumps or anything. I can move it any way, seperated all her toes etc. She lets me touch it all, it was when I bent her paw back slightely to look at her paw that she meowed & pulled away.
I will keep her restricted to my room over night & see how she is in the morning, I haven't had her long, don't really know what she is like, hopefully she is a wimp & fingers crossed it's just a sprain :(

Thanks for your advice and help :)
