Yesterday morning my girlie and I were doing some grid work
and the fence went up to only a 2'6 straight with ground poles and madame got excited and napped/reared back into me and smashed the rop of her head into my chin knocking the left side of my jaw of the socket and splitting the skinn on my chin with blood pissing out!

But I didnt get off we continued and left it at a 3foot straight, a bit of leg and she was fine.

I am struggling to eat with my jaw like this even though It snapped back last night which made me scream the house down and I love to eat!

That sounds really painful. You must have major determination to carry on with your session, though! Must've hurt like hell.

Milkshakes for you, a few days then?!

It was a tad but you have to carry on am always told never leave a session on a bad note so I got her going well and finished.
am eating some solids but its taking me an hour to eat a bag of crisps beacuse am sucking them to go soggy first lol

For most of yesterday I couldnt make my teeth touch on the right hand side beacuse my jaw was wonky lol
all fun and games with horses

omg, hope you feel better soon. I chin butted my horse when i fell off the other week and it hurt like hell, so I know how you feel. My chin was black for weeks. I saw stars !!!!!

jeez. well done for being determined enough to finish on a good note, but i hope you've been to A&E and got painkillers etc.
sounds as if a liquidiser might be your best friend for a while.
and a martingale, definitely... i hate them but some horses just need them.

A few years ago, I was ditched jumping, horse dropped shoulder and bucked and I actually remember being in mid air thinking where is the floor!!!! I found the floor a few seconds later via my head......... when I went to get up I had all this funny liquid pouring out my nose and everytime I lifted my head this would happen, but I also got back on, ended on a good note, put horsey to bed then declared taht I thought I should visit the local hospital....... apparently the liquid can be a sign of a fractured skull!!!!! Hospital didn't x ray!!!! However a year later having an eye test I was referred to the hospital suspected of Glaucoma..... and the main question was, had I suffered a blow to the head, at the time I said no, then I remembered!!!!! So get yourself to the docs or a&e for a check over.......

I was then thinking I should, now trying to eat a cake am so hungry and I tried to push with my left molars and It really hurts in and behind my ear, that cannot be a good sign. I dont think

I dislocated my jaw a few years back and although it put itself back, like yours, it was bl**dy painful for a long time. The ligamants around the joint aren't really made for stretching!
Best to get it checked out - I went to A&E but the triage nurse said I was OK, so no hanging around.
