Injuries from Sweet Itch Rug?

This evening I wrapped up my pony in his new Masta sweet itch rug and hood

I couldn't believe the amount of of straps, flaps and fabric all wrapped round a pony of just 11 hands!

Has anyone ever had a pony injured by such a rug or am I worrying uncessarily?

I wouldn't worry too much. The chances are that the rug will break long before the pony. Our SI pony wears (we call it his Bhurka, he looks like a medieval charger in it. ) one and it's the clasps thingies that break first.

Thank you! I've checked on him twice since it went on at 7pm! I expect it will be swinging from the fence in the morning lol

My shettie trashed a rambo hoodie and didn't even have a hair out of place when I checked him over! Your pony will definitely out live the rug ;-)

The rug is still in place at the moment but I wouldnt put money on pony accepting it meekly for very long!
