I’m self-employed working in marketing, competing in my spare time.

I don’t earn a huge amount and it would be fairly disastrous if I wasn’t able to work for any length of time due to injury etc.

Can anyone recommend a good company for accident / illness insurance? I am not really sure where to start…it would obviously need to include horse riding in the list of activities.

Thanks in advance

We use NFU ( but they do insure everything else for us too) It is expensive. The premium will depend on what you need as a payout when claiming. Our insurance is designed that if one of us is injured and cant work the insurance will cove getting someone in. (we ae farmers) I have 'horse riding as one of my activities, but have excluded hunting as it made my premium more expensive.
