inspiration needed!

ok so im looking for some inspiration for a research project. it can be on anything equine related.

basically i need to design a project, have something to measure and statistically analyse it. can be on any subject.

areas of interest to me are teaching, breaking and training, competing etc but im open to ideas from all angles.

in the past people on my course have done projects like 'habituation to a frightening stimuli' and 'the effect of grooming on heart rate'

last year i looked at horse owners knowledge on laminitis- i did a survey with some basic questions on the disease.

any ideas for an interesting project that i could research, test, and write 10,000 words on?

sorry if im being cheeky just getting slightly worried as nothing has come to me yet!

How about hydration in performance horses?

It is important for your horse to be properly hydrated for it to perform at its best, and there are a number of products and supplements which apparently aid this - are they effective - as effective as say feeding a measured amount of salt, which alot of endurance riders do. (not sure how you would analyse though!!)

How about the going barefoot v shoeing or treeless v normal saddles , theres lots of debates and stuff about the subjects avaliable, probebly not at all what you wanted but I am very blonde, he he !!
