So I need a crash test dummy... erm... willing volunteer to ride my girls pictured below. :p

This one wil be brought back into work soon (hopefully) after a year off (except for a handful of rides when I tried to bring her back into work a few months ago).

This one will be broken in the summer if I can persuade her to give up her lazy life of riley. :p

To Rhino

So I can book you in then?

I would think that she'll be fine with the riding thing as long as we can A, catch her, B, she can put in zero effort and C, she gets lots of food. ;)

ETA, thanks everyone for your offers. Chestnut is 15.2 and a bit hh, is that too big? Grey is about 15hh (I need to measure her again).

This is great. Why didn't I think of this sooner. So many brave/foolish folks about. :D :p

Crash test doggy sounds good. :D

She has passed the crash test kitten test (sorry no photo :( ) and the CTD is the obvious next stage of the backing process. :)

Ohh and now I love your pony even more!

Can't we just arrange a venue, bring them all and do swapsies like at pony club?

Yes, definitely. Provided I go home with the right pony. I'm not taking some TB which actually needs feeding and rugging up

I'll bring my warmblood, she'd happily live out all winter but that's not allowed at my yard. You'll never notice the difference honest

I might notice the longer scramble up

I have ponies for three reasons...

1. Less far to fall
2. Easier to re-mount post-fall
3. Less likely to result in decapitation on overgrown bridlepaths

:D
