I am slightly hijacking another post.

Just wondered if these really work. I have tried so Kalm on my old horse and it didn't make a difference.

Are some horses naturally stressed in stressful situations no matter what you give them? Or do these products actually work??

Would be useful to know as my boy gets stressed in lorries and I am guessing quite stressed at shows!

I used SoKalm for a show with brilliant success. Now I am feeding Brewers' Yeast every day, and my nervous boy has chilled out a lot. It's cheaper than calmers, too. It has taken two weeks to notice a difference, but he is definitely much calmer.

He is on steady up at the moment, but don't think it is doing a lot to be honest! Fingers crossed for the Brewers Yeast! And it is soooooooo much cheaper!

I actually started using the Brewers' Yeast to repel midges. I fed Marmite last year, but heard that the yeast does the same thing, and it's easier to feed. It is only as a side effect that I have noticed that Marius is less stressy. It does say on the tub: for Nervousness. It is apparently the B vitamins that do it!
