Also anymore help/advice on potential instructors would be much appreciated :)

Im in Colchester but I have an excellent trainer who I use for my Dressage training, but she is also fantasitic for dressage. She is based in Tiptree but I know she works as a teacher nr Romford so may be able to do something your way. She has her own website:

www.clairesequestrian.com

Claire Parker - she is fantastic!

She is fantastic. I have been having my Dressage lessons with her for the past few months and my riding and my horse have come on so much with her. I have David Merritt for my main trainer and then have a lesson with Claire once a month and I have never worked so hard in one 30min lesson! My 6yr old TB that has only been in re-training since Feb now does collected, working and medium trot, half past, working on pirouettes and we have nearly cured his mincers walk!

Thank you for replying...her website looks fab! :)

Ideally i would like a dressage rider/trainer as feel the schooling/flatwork is the main concern at the moment, he is a young horse + unbalanced and Im a novice rider! He has impeccable manners / temperament and gives me confidence so although we have alot of work ahead and i have alot to learn, Im looking forward to the challenge and learning curve!!
