Looking for an experienced instructor trainer who will travel to Stroud/Dursley area.
I have a very green, sharp, sensitive 6 year old ex racer mare who has spent the last 2 years maturing and relearning to be a horse in the field and lightly hacking.
I now need a sensitive, experienced trainer who will work with me to start at the basics and bring her on, treating her like an newly broken 4 year old and preferably someone who has ex racer experience and is prepared to ride her as well as teach me as I know I lack experience and want to get it right for her.
Ideally I need someone who will come to me 2-3 times a week for 2-4 weeks to get her started and then ease off to weekly lessons once we're both more established. I'm reluctant to send her away for schooling at the moment as we have just moved yards to somewhere with better facilities and am worried another move would unsettle her but would consider this for the right trainer.
