Can anyone recommend to me any reliable instructor/trainers around the Vale of Glamorgan area ?
Don't mind travelling a bit if they are reliable and are reccomended (sp) but them being near is a bonus

Ann Peate is a good one she is a BHSI, she helped me with my TB mare, she events as well brill with young horses, she is from the vale of Glamorgan, if you want I can give you her number
 
Yes that is the one, I just went to my phone to check surname.. so edited my posts, I took my horse down to Cardiff to her (she was teaching in Cardiff RS) but she freelances and will travel, was willing to come to me in Swansea
 
I can highly recommend Alan Gordon Cannon, he is based near Bridgend (Cowbridge side I think). If you need any more info please PM me. There is also a freelance trainer who we are hoping to get for a one day clinic called Jordana and she is based on the Gower but will travel - she is BHSII but cant speak from personal experience of her, yet. There are a number of people you could ask - Amymay, Muffinino, Jen from Bridgend - cant remember her username sorry.
 
eric winter is a fab eventer and also builds for BE xc hes has great facilities and i think hes based at chepstow way, he does have a website but i dont know what it is,, am so sorry useless!! if you put a post up for him think you might get more info, i went to him years ago he taught me sooo much, he lives to far away from me now..

I live in Carmarthenshire and i recommend Julia, i dont know her sirname but she only charges(listen to this) £10 for an hours lesson!! doing what ever you want! she judges dressage and trains riders for one day events etc! i had my first lesson with her on one of my TB younsgters and she had me riding her very light on the forehand and controled in just 4 mins into are lesson, she watches you do your thing for a min or so and then she'l work with you!! She is seriously a very good instructor and she will lead you in the right direction! And i am continuing to have lessons with her! and she is o so CHEAP!! theres a jumping lesson (group) fun day on the 27th with her £5 each!!!! all abilities and im an advanced rider on a younsgter so everyone can go whether it be to train rider or horse!! she is really good!
try her out, she is situated in Carmel, on the way to crosshands, carmarthenshire! if you want the number i can find it for you or just PM me:)

I have a 4yo that I want help with to help me and her to progress and would love lessons on my horse that I have on loan swaying towards sj/bsja
