Any peeps out there with the above care to give me an opinion on them. I tried some today as looking for something a little warmer to school in over the winter. I am not a fan of the much bulkier boots (Grasmeres etc) for schooling as I like a good feel through my foot to the stirrup ( I am odd!).

I tried these today and found them very nice. My only concern is if they will drop enough. They are not uncomfortable in the least but could do with dropping a little. Does anyone have experience of this.

Many thanks!!

Mine haven't dropped as such but have settled about 1/4" lower down my calf than when I first had them. I have trouble with boots collapsing at the ankle (cos mine are skinny!) and cutting into my heels. These haven't.

Ditto all the above. Love, love, love mine! Sometimes the zips can be a little sticky, but a stripe of saddle soap down the fastening every now and then works wonders!

Arh......heel risers

Do they make a difference? I tried some Bromonts on at YHL and they really dug in the back of my leg, would need them to drop about an 1"

I absolutely adore mine I would buy again however the only problem I have is that the zip came away from the boot about 5 inches down the length, i took it to get repaired which cost me £17, I dont mind as I love them so much however now the other boot is starting to get stuck at the same point and it seems like it is about to come away from the boot like the other one which im upset about! They arent too tight around my calf either and so dont understand why really, apart from maybe it is where the top edge of my long sock lies under the boot!?

The heel risers work with mine :D I have the mountain horse risers in :p but you can order heel risers of different heights off eBay so if you need an inch then get the risers near that height.:D

Thanks everyone for your replies - seems like they are a popular boot - will give heel raisers a try when I go in the shop properly dressed in me winter breeches!!

Thanks for that :) I'll buy some heel risers then go to shop and try them again as I really do want some.
