Ive got any driver over 25, insured for 20K with full breakdown cover and its £350 a year. The breakdown cover was as much as the insurance for the wagon. I had the chassis changed to a newer one so doubled the value (based on whats out there at the mo) and the premium didnt change. Im with NFU.
We went through Shearwater - the actual company we are with is Novae Underwriting Ltd. We paid £156 for the year but that is for a wagon at around 7k value, but this was as a new policy without introductory no claims. We got breakdown separately for approx £80.
We paid £854 or thereabouts for any driver over 25 and me (19) box value £35k. It was me that killed it despite me having a spotless car record and a spotless motorbike record and getting a hgv licence so more than qualified for a 7.5ton ageists!
