Has anyone had any success with any particular company at getting the premiums lowered?

I've got a range of prices that are so vastly different. obv petplan are the most expensive as usual but has anyone had success with lowering premium?

I'm just trying to save myself ringing all of them again :-0 yawwwwwn!

Cheers

I get a discount on my insurance because I have both my horse and trailer insured, so they knock something off for that. Also look at things like your Class Of Use and the value of your horse. My insurance year runs from August to July so if I'm going to hunt my horse, I tend to have hunting (class B I think) on from August to whenever I stop, then I have it removed which reduces the premium for the remaining 6 months / gets you a refund if you paid up front.

I also only have my horse insured for £500 and that brought the premium down a lot, compared to the 3.5K I had the last horse insured for.

wow - thanks.
Reducing the value to 500 is most definately a winner!!
As the horse is on loan and the owner has their own policy i'm only really concerned with vet fees / accident etc.
