I had the same question so asked around my friends. One friend said she had tried lots of companies and that she had really good experience with Direct Line. Not only did they pay immediately, they also phoned to check how her dog was after his op ... and they seem to be the cheapest. I've just joined up with them with my new pup but FINGERS CROSSED I will never have to claim x

im with tesco, just had my first claim, which was for a problem after castration, and there was no argument about the claim just yup ok form in post!
petplan I think are "supposed" to be the best, but they are not the cheapest! my cats are with petplan though and no problems so far!

Petplan....well worth the extra in cost....as they have fab cover.

Direct line, most expensive by 10 so far, Tescos and Petplan about the same, just waiting a call from Petplan as I have horse with them for the more than one pet option, off to look at a few others, thanks all
