Insurance Co. advice/ recommendations

Recommendations and experiences with insurance companies please ? Currently with E&L but would benefit from better tack cover especially.

Who is reliable and offers a good service, who to avoid, who is too expensive etc. We do a bit of everything, 9yo competition horse.

Petplan is good but I didn’t insure my tack with them as I didn’t have the correct locks/ window bars etc on my tack room. I insure my tack with NFU along with all our outbuildings and contents.

I was always with NFU who I found to be excellent. However I never insured my tack. Far better to use the premiums on covering the horse imo.
