Insurance companies

Hi All,
I am currently searching for a horse to loan and have been getting quotes from several insurance companies. Would be a great help to me if anyone has any good/bad experiences of the following companies they would like to share (pm me if necessary

) : Petplan, Kbis, SEIB, NFU mutual, E&L (I have heard some stories here but they may not be true of the general experience)

I cant really say what I would like to as im sure its against Terms and conditions of the forum, but, despite prices, I would pick NFU over E&L. Rx

Yup, my thoughts and what I have heard would tend to agree with you....

Just fishing for any horror stories or alternatively , an enthusiastic recommendation...perhpas not.

Just DO NOT use E&L, you get what u pay for.
we use petplan and they have been good with ours but many suggest NFU

NFU are great they have promptly paid out some big claims in the past for me with no hassle.

mine is with petplan and *touches wood* havent had to use them yet (i know proberbly shouldn't have said that)

But brothers pony is with KBIS who have been fantastic

If you look at the difference between E&L and Petplan for their rider plan, E&L says you have to loose '2' limps in order to claim!! Petplan is just 1!

LOL! Well it's not funny if it happens I suppose. Just for vets fees and LOU as I have personal and Third party already from BHS and PC.
