Im with KBIS, i haven't had to claim but they are responsibly priced and the cover is good.
I find Pet plan the most expensive, and ive always been told to stay away from E&L, as they don't pay out.
As above, used to be with NFU for 4yrs never claimed but premiums kept going up above inflation. Check the small print as E&L also trade under different names, remember if it seems too good to be true it probably is!!
Im with Scottish Equestrian and got my insurance through Julie Andrews insurance brooker.
They are reasonably priced and have paid out my ongoing claim with no issues at all and would use them again if I got aonther horse.
I love petplan been with them for 20 years and always pay out for me. Ive recently done a comparison and they are not the cheapest for my horse, by a bit. Ive decided to stay with them because of the history I have with them and because I know the insurance company that underwrite them (Allianz). The quotes I got from SEIB and Sheawater were cheaper but id never heard of the companies doing the underwriting and I wont trust what I dont know. A close friend also had terrible dealings with SEIB, although it was to do with a loss of use on a very expensive horse, it all got quite nasty.(i dont know the full facts so ill say no more!)
