Hi, just wondering what the best to go for and who to avoid?
I know this has been done few times, I'm sorry!

NFU every time.
Have just had a massive claim with them and they've not grumbled once. Lots of friends have had good experiences with them too.

There are loads of great insurance companies, NFU, KBIS, SEIB, Petplan, Stoneways & many more.

The one to stay clear of is E&L & their sister companies. They have very cheap premiums but this is because the chance of them actually paying out for a claim is slim. They will delay as long as possible & also find as many reasons as they can for not paying out. They are a disgrace. I'm not just saying this, see the below link for reviews on them:-

KBIS - both of mine are insured with them - and despite having claimed a few times for my big guy to the total sum of over £5k my premiums have not went up much at all - and they have paid our promptly to the vet and their customer service is great.

NFU have just hiked my insurance up by £19 a month this on my renewal due shortly ....I have only ever had one claim in the 5 years I have been with them which was this year for £1000.....I am ringing them as its crazy since they have made £3000+ from me without the claim....
